Unfortunately, those slices might look delicious, but it’s best not to eat them if they been left on the counter overnight.  The United States Department of Agriculture says bacteria starts to build up on food that’s left at room temperature for just a few hours.

Bacteria

Food needs to be kept in a temperature controlled atmosphere to avoid this kind of bacteria build up.  There are certain temperatures your pizza needs to be kept at all times to be edible.

That means any pizza that was left out overnight has been gathering bacteria. You may not be able to see it with your naked eye, by it’s there nonetheless. Eating any pizza that’s been left on the counter means your chances go up of getting a foodborne illness or even food poisoning.

Seriously ill

You might not get seriously ill, but there are some rather unpleasant consequences to eating that pie. They include gastrointestinal issues as well as nausea and vomiting. Nobody wants to be kept in bed for a whole day.

However, there is a solution. That left over pizza can last in your refrigerator for up to four days. Wrap up those extra slices in plastic wrap or a little foil. You can also store halal pizza in Alberta in Tupperware or in an airtight type of container before you put it in your refrigerator.
